17 January 2020

Gold medal for the Evento Rosè Spumante Extra Dry and bronze medal for Prosecco Spumante Doc Brut. Savian brings home a new success at Challenge Millésime Bio 2020, the largest international competition on organic wine.

Savian Vini

The competition, created by Sudvinbio, an inter-professional association that brings together producers and retailers of organic wine in Occitania, now in its twelfth edition, features over 1.600 organic wines from all over the world. These include the Evento Rosè, an intense ruby red wine with violet hues, full-bodied, almost aristocratic for its elegant taste, and Prosecco Doc Brut, sparkling wine vinified in white with the charmat method, a harmonious wine with a pleasantly persistent flavor.

Savian Vini

During this edition of Challenge Millésime Bio, 1.611 wines competed. Wines have been tasted by experts from 15 countries and who promote the values of organic agriculture. These include Philippe Faure Brac, the best sommelier in the world in 1992 and president of the Union de la Sommellerie Française, who chaired the competition this year.
